YVR 2 has officially received SGS “Low Blue Light” certification from the global testing leader—reducing blue light exposure for more comfortable long-term use. The award highlights YVR’s focus on visual health and industry-leading low-blue-light performance.

SGS certification: healthier metaverse viewing
As smart devices spread, visual health matters more. Blue light from phones, PCs, and TVs draws wide attention. Research suggests long exposure to high-energy blue light (about 415–455 nm) may raise risk to the macula and cause blur and fatigue. VR’s near-eye display raises the bar for reducing blue harm.
YVR 2 offers a “Low Blue Light” mode that adjusts display color to shift harmful blue wavelengths into a safer range—protecting users while balancing visuals through repeated tuning.

With strong results, YVR 2 earned SGS certification. With 140+ years of history, SGS ran rigorous tests; YVR 2 meets requirements for HEV blue content and related metrics at a leading level—supporting healthier viewing.
Clear and comfortable: visual experience evolved
YVR aims to evolve “vision” holistically—optimizing clarity and comfort while reducing blue harm.
YVR 2’s two-lens Pancake optics and curved film deliver outstanding clarity. As the world’s first mass-produced Pancake ultra-short-focus all-in-one, it offers a larger sweet spot, clearer edges, and less glare, distortion, and chromatic aberration.
Through testing and tuning, YVR 2 aligns optical distortion correction, spatial algorithms, and chip performance—reducing discomfort and matching virtual to real with industry-leading comfort.
YVR will keep exploring healthy, clear, immersive vision—as a gift for entering the metaverse.
