April 12–15, InnoEX—co-organized by the Hong Kong SAR Government and HKTDC—took place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme “Smart Living • Connected World.” Global exhibitors, buyers, experts, and institutions gathered around smart city, economy, environment, and life—sharing innovation and partnerships.

YVR, PFDM’s flagship VR brand, joined as a leading Songjiang company in the “Yangtze River Delta G60 Science & Technology Innovation Corridor” pavilion—co-hosted by HKTDC and the Songjiang District People’s Government—showcasing G60, Songjiang New City, Songjiang Hub, and Tech Film City—“innovation, culture, and ecology.”

Founded and grown in Songjiang, Shanghai, YVR builds a world-leading VR brand and metaverse infrastructure. The booth featured the self-developed flagship YVR 2—the world’s first mass-produced Pancake optical VR all-in-one—upgraded in visuals, interaction, and comfort as a gateway to a smarter future—drawing strong interest from visitors and media at home and abroad.

Government leaders also visited. Cheng Xiangmin—deputy head of the leading group for advancing the Yangtze River Delta G60 Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor, executive chair of the corridor joint conference, and secretary of the Songjiang District Party Committee—tried YVR 2 and praised the experience.

Visitors and media praised the demo: “YVR 2 exceeded expectations—design, comfort, clarity, and smooth operation. Even with big movements, controller tracking stayed stable with no frame drops—really fun.”

“It was my first time with such a light headset—the endless virtual world showed me what digital future could look like.”

“VR will change how we know and explore the world—transforming entertainment and becoming a new productivity tool,” a YVR lead said. “From day one, YVR has focused on core self-developed tech and user-driven iteration to expand the digital future.”

YVR runs a global R&D team—about 70% of staff—covering algorithms, software, hardware, and industrial design for high-tech VR hardware.

YVR has self-developed industry-leading VSLAM and VST, world-class 6DoF tracking, and hand-tracking R&D—building more natural, convenient VR interaction.

“Songjiang is the birthplace of the G60 corridor—with strong innovation, talent, and industry chains—supporting R&D, iteration, ecosystem, and go-to-market,” the lead added. “InnoEX lets us show Songjiang’s tech to the world and grow our global brand.”

YVR will seize the next wave of technology and industry change—rooted in Songjiang, reaching the world—toward a leading global VR brand from China.
