Dreams Together: 2023 YVR Fan Festival Offline Event Wraps Up

It was great to talk in depth with the YVR core team. After learning about the brand and product philosophy, I’m even more committed to growing with YVR—and I hope there will be more meaningful, joyful gatherings like this.

YVR, PFDM’s signature VR brand, stays focused on great experiences and real value for users. On May 20, 2023, the 2023 YVR Brand Fan Festival offline party took place at the Shanghai headquarters. More than twenty YVR users from across China joined the brand for a fun, open, relaxed get-together—opening a new chapter in user co-creation.

Face-to-face dialogue, brand–user ideation, the YVR fair, YVR Happy Hour… Under the theme “Dreams Together, With You,” YVR and fans resonated on the same frequency—“play your dreams”—strengthening emotional bonds and laying user foundations for long-term brand growth.

During the event, leads for YVR hardware, software, industrial design, algorithms, and ecosystem shared product philosophy and real stories from the YVR 2 design process with fans on site.

“Since day one, YVR has wanted to play together with users and create VR experiences that stand apart—that’s why we hold the fan festival,” a YVR representative shared. “Beyond thanking users who’ve walked with us, we hope face-to-face gatherings let us talk deeply and shape the future together.”

Fans were highly engaged—sharing views on the brand, offering valuable feedback, and imagining the future with YVR. The team recorded the discussions and responded on the spot, aiming to co-create products that truly match user needs.

“From the first generation to today’s YVR 2, YVR has made breakthroughs in comfort, immersion, and looks. I hope future headsets get even thinner, lighter, and nicer so I can use them longer and in more places.”

Beyond talks, YVR Happy Hour and the YVR fair created a relaxed, joyful atmosphere full of laughter.

The 2023 YVR Brand Fan Festival ran from May 10 to May 25—YVR’s first fan festival. E-commerce perks for new purchases, a program for a hundred first-generation users to enjoy new headsets, offline party fun, and surprise benefits for active YVR 2 users made a two-week celebration that drew strong attention and feedback—setting the stage for even richer, more open user events ahead.
